Firefly Programs

To successfully combat existing health disparities and the social and economic inequities that fuel them, we must remove the barriers that stop innovative and transformative public health solutions from making the leap between the classroom and the community.

Firefly embraces a new model of research and development focused on driving innovation, teaching entrepreneurship, and leveraging strategic science.

  • The City University of New York’s annual Public Health Innovation Accelerator helps entrepreneurs transform early-stage ideas and prototypes into market-ready ventures with public health impact embedded in business models. All online. At no cost. Our unique 8-week venture-building program consists of both learning and doing, and is tailored to each venture team’s needs and sector of focus.
